New Study Underway of AlzheimAlert™Test for Alzheimer's

A large new prospective study of the AlzheimAlert™ urine test, which measures levels of brain protein known to be elevated in the urine of patients with Alzheimer's disease, has begun at State University of New York.

Dr. Smita Kittur, the Director of the Alzheimer's Programs at SUNY Upstate Medical Center and the Syracuse VA Medical Center, is leading the study of what researchers hope may prove a painless, accurate aid to the diagnosis of Alzheimer's.
